- It's an edge to edge joint used to join narrow boards together to make up a large panel.
- the joint allows two flat pieces to be joined strongly together to make a single flat surface;
- Used mainly in flooring, parquetry, panelling, and similar constructions;
Work Planning:
Step 1: preparation of boards
* boards cross cut to the same and final length.* Ensure that the surface grain on all boards runs in the same direction to facilitate final cleaning.
* number the boards or mark the face side so we can rearrange them in the same order.

Step 3: Bit adjustment, height and centering
Straight bits used: 1/2'' and 1/4''
Used Featherboard to help hold and secure the board against the fence.
