This chisel set is designed to allow you to get into corners and joinery and make surfaces flush with other surfaces.

 They kind work like a hand plane but you can use them to get in to areas that a hand plane can't. I imagine that it will be very useful for makeing joints.

They have threaded sockets for ease of use.
