Wooden Kidney Shelf Set

Application to Cabinetmaking
These wooden kidney shelves utilize the corner space where two countertops meet. Each revolving shelf is made from 12mm (about 1/2") maple plywood
The set contains two shelves preassembled with a durable bearing plus a 26" to 32" telescoping center pole with top-, shelf- and base-mounting assemblies.
The articulated cupboard door is built using 170° European hinges to attach to the cabinet, and a length of piano hinge for the corner (neither included)

The Difference between Kidney-Shaped and Pie Cut Lazy Susans
The most confusing of the shapes are the Kidney Shaped and Pie Cut Lazy Susans. Kidney Shaped and Pie Cut Lazy Susans appear to be identical in shape but they are not.

Kidney Shaped Lazy Susans are used for “L”-shaped corner cabinets where the door is attached to the cabinet and the Lazy Susan moves independently of the door. The inner corner of the cutout area can be curved on some Kidney-Shaped Lazy Susans
